Helping flood affected communities

Insignia Financial has a long-standing history of supporting the community from our origins as a friendly society caring for people in need, and we are committed to doing whatever we can to support our people, clients and communities impacted by the floods.

Insignia Community Foundation Disaster Recovery Appeal

The Insignia Community Foundation Disaster Recovery Appeal has been set up to provide grants to help Australian communities recovering from natural disasters.

Together, Insignia Financial and the Insignia Community Foundation have committed to contributing an initial amount of $100,000 to the Insignia Community Foundation Disaster Recovery Appeal. All donations to the Disaster Recovery Appeal will go directly towards helping emergency services, communities and wildlife affected by the floods. Importantly, support from the Insignia Community Foundation for the Disaster Recovery Appeal will continue beyond 2022 as communities rebuild.

Crisis leave for our people who are emergency volunteers

To make it easier for our people to support communities during emergencies, we provide crisis leave for employees who are a member of a volunteer organisation such as the Rural Fire Service, Country Fire Authority or State Emergency Service and are called to assist.

Volunteer leave for employees

To acknowledge the need for volunteers in a range of areas, we are offering all eligible permanent staff the opportunity to use their two days of volunteer leave to any charitable organisation or community service provider.

Helping our clients

Our thoughts are with those affected by the floods and we’re here to help our advisers and clients who are experiencing difficulties.  For more information, clients and advisers can contact our ClientFirst Team on 1800 913 118 or email clientfirst@ioof.com.au.
