Scott Hartley

Chief Executive Officer

• Scott commenced as CEO of Insignia Financial in March 2024. He has over two decades of experience in the wealth management sector and proven experience in turnarounds, transforming, and growing wealth management businesses.
• Prior to this role, he was CEO at AMP Australia Wealth Management and previously CEO of Sunsuper. Before joining Sunsuper, Scott led MLC’s corporate and institutional wealth businesses including Plum Financial Services and JANA Investment Advisers.
• Scott is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a former Director of the Financial Services Council, and a Fellow of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia.

Liz McCarthy

CEO MLC Expand 

• Liz has over 20 years of experience leading large-scale projects in data, automation, artificial intelligence and analytics across the financial services, payments and aviation industries.
• As CEO of MLC Expand, Liz has end-to-end accountability for Insignia Financial’s wrap platforms and advisory solutions and is responsible for product strategy, management and development, client operations and sales.
• Liz has held various roles at Humm, Jetstar, Macquarie, Westpac and AMP. Most recently, Liz was the Chief Executive Officer at OneTwo Home Loans.

Dave Woodall

CEO Superannuation

• Dave has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has led teams across several disciplines, including sales, relationship management, financial advice, marketing, brand, and communications and has worked for NAB, Plum, ING, and AMP.
• As CEO Superannuation, Dave has end-to-end accountability for Insignia Financial’s Master Trust Business, and is responsible for product strategy, management and development, client operations, workplace solutions, sales, and insurance.
• Most recently he was Chief Commercial Officer at Australian Retirement Trust (ART), where he drove the enterprise growth strategy, which included strategic partnerships and merger and acquisition activities.

David Chalmers

Chief Financial Officer

• David has more than 20 years’ global finance experience across consulting, investment banking, private equity and corporate environments with Spark New Zealand, MediaWorks and Macquarie.
• Most recently he was Chief Financial Officer of Spark New Zealand, the country’s largest telecommunications company.
  

Renee Howie

Chief Customer Officer

• Renee has more than 20 years’ experience growing some of Asia Pacific’s strongest businesses in the financial and professional services industries including Macquarie, BlackRock, CBA, and AMP.
• As Chief Customer Officer, Renee is responsible for Advice and Marketing at Insignia Financial, creating a continuum of brand awareness, customer engagement, and guidance, through to comprehensive advice.
• Prior to her current role, she was Chief Marketing Officer at AMP Limited where she was responsible for leading the brand, marketing, data and digital capabilities.

Frank Lombardo

Chief Technology Officer (acting)

• Frank has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services in the areas of wealth management, banking, operations, transformation, and change management.
• He leads Insignia Financial’s technology, operations, and client services teams, and is accountable for delivering strategic initiatives including simplification of products and platforms, and the integration of recent acquisitions.
• Frank joined Insignia Financial in 2015 as General Manager, Transformation and has previously held senior management roles at NAB, MLC and Aviva Australia.
  

Jason Sommer 

Chief Operating Officer

• Jason has more than 25 years of broad and deep experience in the wealth management industry including superannuation, investment management, and life insurance. He is a Fellow of the Actuaries Institute.
• As Chief Operating Officer, Jason leads Insignia Financial’s Strategy and Enterprise Services functions.
• Prior to his current role, Jason held senior executive roles spanning transformation, strategy, finance, product, people and culture, investment operations, and relationship management at AMP, Sunsuper, NAB Wealth, and Plum Financial Services. Most recently Jason was at Deloitte focusing on strategic operating model consulting to the wealth management industry.

Mel Walls

Chief People Officer

• Mel has more than 20 years’ experience in human resources with expertise in culture, organisational development and change management.
  
• She most recently was General Manager, People & Change for AusNet Services and prior to this held several senior roles in commercial banking.
• She joined Insignia Financial as Chief People Officer in 2019.
  

Adrianna Bisogni

Group Company Secretary

• Adrianna has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services and wealth management, legal, compliance and risk.
• Most recently, she was Group General Counsel at McMillian Shakespeare and from 2003 to 2009, Group General Counsel at Insignia Financial.
  

Lawrence Hastings

Chief Legal Officer

• Lawrence has over 25 years' legal experience in financial services and wealth management.
• Lawrence was formerly a Partner at the law firm Clayton Utz and most recently the General Counsel for ANZ Wealth.
  

Anvij Saxena

Chief Risk Officer

• Anvij has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services. He is passionate about cultivating and leading high performing teams to deliver optimal risk and customer outcomes.
  
• Prior to joining Insignia Financial in 2023, Anvij spent ten years at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he was most recently Executive General Manager for Operational Risk and Chief Risk Officer for the bank’s business support functions. Prior to this, he was the General Manager Operational Risk of CBA’s Retail Bank and the Chief Risk Officer of Colonial First State.
